Help us raise $10,000 by December 31
to keep our farm running!
Dear Veggielutionaries,
How can we begin to explain all the ways the farm we have created together affects the lives of people in our community? As an example, you can listen to the personal testimonial of Nikki Nisby. For Nikki and the many other low cost Farm Box participants, our farm is a life-line to healthy and affordable vegetables.
Nikki’s story is one of the best examples of how your support is having a real impact in San Jose. But it’s not just the low cost produce - Veggielution reconnects thousands of people each year with gardening, their neighbors and the land that sustains us all.
We want to share one more story that illustrates this. Our volunteer Jose Molina grew up on a farm in Texas and served during the Vietnam War. Well into his 70’s, Jose is legally blind and has no space of his own to garden. For Jose, coming to Veggielution is therapy, giving him plants to care for and people who respect his knowledge as a farmer.
These are the stories that make Veggielution special. We are working hard to make low cost produce accessible to those who need it and to provide a healthy, inclusive space for everyone to enjoy. The thing is, we can’t do this without your support!
This holiday season, please renew your commitment to Veggielution with a donation. We need you to keep our farm growing in 2014.
P.S. Sign-up for a recurring monthly donation of $15 or more by December 31st and we will send you a water bottle with the Veggielution logo!
All donations help our community grow.
Are you a Veggielutionary? We ask that you come to Veggielution Community Farm and find out. Come see the smiling faces, and experience the simple pleasure of hard work and new friends. Come celebrate food and community with us.
We also hope you’ll consider supporting Veggielution by making a tax-deductible donation. Remember, any size donation will help! You can also set up recurring monthly donations, providing us with the assurance that we'll be receiving your support throughout the year.
Veggielution Community Farm is a 501(c)(3) public charity (nonprofit), IRS Tax ID 27-2021333. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
