Food Hub Feasibility Study


Veggielution is exploring the concept of a community food hub to be located in East San Jose and to serve the Santa Clara region. We are conducting a feasibility study to understand the potential to bring this facility to life and to understand the needs of our community. The food hub will aim to address food access and food insecurity in our region, provide space for food entrepreneurs and workers to create products, and create a market channel for smaller, BIPOC and organic farmers. The food hub may include: 

  • Commercial kitchen 

  • Local food warehouse and distribution center 

  • Community classes on food and agriculture

  • Retail food space

  • and perhaps more!

We are conducting surveys with key growers and producers like you to gather your input to inform the design and operating model of this exciting facility.  Thank you in advance for your time!
