Give Your Students a Full Immersion in Farm Life – Register for Our Summer Field Trips!
We invite you to register your youth group or school for an unforgettable adventure at Veggielution! Our Summer Field Trip Days offer a full immersion experience that excites, engages, and inspires students. With our unique, hands-on approach, they will explore the entire food system—from seed to plate—while learning how nature works its magic to reduce food waste.
Why Choose a Field Trip at Veggielution?
Our field trips are designed for groups of K-5th grade students (30-45 participants), offering them a chance to discover the joys of farming and environmental stewardship through fun, educational activities that span the entire food journey:
Little Garden Explorers (K-3rd graders): Get close to our farm’s vibrant gardens! Children will explore the beauty of plants, engage in garden collections, and witness the cycle of life firsthand.
Wiggly Wonders: The Magic of Worms: Let your students experience the wonders of worm composting—learning how these little creatures turn waste into valuable nutrients for our soil!
Senses in the Soil: A Garden Adventure: A multi-sensory experience where kids get their hands (and senses) into the earth to discover what makes our soil rich, alive, and essential to the planet’s health.
Growing Green: Organic Farming Fun: Students will dive deep into organic farming practices, where they’ll plant, harvest, and see first-hand how food grows sustainably.
Eating the Rainbow (4th- 5th graders): Cooking class with organic and seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables.
