Project Inspire – What a transformation!

Greetings Friends,

Phew, Project Inspire was quite a whirlwind! Our 1500 NVIDA and Veggielution volunteers got an incredible amount of work done last weekend.

  • Installed irrigation into the Youth Garden
  • Big progress on 5 farm buildings
  • Planted native hedgrows all around the farm
  • Built 16 beautiful picnic tables for the potluck area
  • Painted 3 amazing murals
  • Built a 2nd greenhouse
  • Planted a spring crop of fava beans
  • Built over 700 ft of fence
  • and sooo much more!

Thanks to Project Inspire, we will more than double the amount of food we grow in 2013, and many more community members will learn to cook and eat healthy food.

As part of our farm community, YOU are invited to come out to our last Saturday workday of the year to see how much the farm has transformed!

Saturday, September 22nd - LAST SATURDAY WORKDAY OF THE YEAR
10:00a to 12:30p, followed by a potluck lunch

So much has been accomplished, and there is also much work left to be done - and you can help! Please make Veggielution part of your holiday wish list with a donation. Since the farm is expanding in size and reach, we would like to challenge you to double the holiday gift you gave last year, or start a new tradition by donating for the first time.

We hope to see you at the farm,

Amie Frisch, Executive Director
And the Veggielution Crew

PS: Donors of $150 or more by Dec 31st will get a free Veggielution canvas grocery bag!
