News from the Farm
/Dear Veggielution Supporters,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am thrilled to announce that Cayce Hill has been appointed as Veggielution’s new Executive Director, effective immediately.
Many of you may have already met Cayce in her role as Interim Executive Director and appreciated the development of our organization over the past seven months under her leadership, including strengthened local partnerships and a renewed spirit of inclusivity and collaboration within the community.
For the past 15 years Cayce has worked both in the U.S. and internationally at the crossroads of food and health. With a B.S.in Finance and Spanish, a Masters in Public Administration from New York University's Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service and a Master Gardener Certification, Cayce has built an outstanding capacity for understanding local and regional food systems and their connection to public health.
She also has extensive experience connecting and empowering people, from youth leadership development to community advocacy programs. Her impressive credentials, along with a personal passion for celebrating cultural traditions in her work, make her uniquely qualified to lead Veggielution into an exciting future.
Cayce comes to us most recently from her own culinary garden business, Cayce Hill Gardens, as well as serving on the Veggielution Board of Directors. As Veggielution takes bold steps to evolve our organization and advance our mission of connecting people through food and farming, please join me in warmly welcoming Cayce to her new position!
Sincerely,
Kim Pederson
Chair, Board of Directors
