You and your family are invited to 1st Saturday! This month we're encouraging everyone to move their bodies by joining us in our morning Yoga and Zumba! There will also be a presentation on the County's Transportation Plan to make roads safer to walk and bike.

  • 🧘 Free Yoga 9am-10am

    • We are having a free yoga class in the Pavilion! Please bring your mats!

  • 💃 Free Zumba 10:30-11:30am

    • Come move your body with a great community at our free Zumba class.

  • 🍅 Farmstand 10am-2pm

    • Visit our Farm Stand and pick up some farm fresh veggies, fruits, and herbs for your kitchen.

  • 🪴 Youth Garden 10am-12:30pm

    • Explore the garden and make sculptures with anatural items found in the garden like branches and tree trunks.

  • 🍤 Brunch!

    • One of our Eastside Grown graduates will be serving ceviche from his food truck, Pacifico Shrimp! We are only serving 50 plates! First come, first serve.

  • 🎨 Active Transportation Plan Presentation 11:30am-12:30pm

    • Santa Clara County is creating an Active Transportation Plan! The Plan will focus on improving walking, bicycling, and rolling along county-controlled expressways and roadways. Join us to learn about the plan and share your experiences, challenges, and vision for walking, biking, and rolling with us.

  • 🎟 Activity & Prizes! 10am-12:30pm

    • Participate in our activity and get a chance to win great prizes!

  • 📚 Resources 10am-1pm

    • Learn about great community resources for you and your family from VAS, Our City Forest and the Si Se Puede Collective.

  • 👟 Shoe Recycling 10am-1pm

    • Bring your old tennis shoes to the Farmstand and we will recycle them while also raising money for Veggielution! Bring old worn-out shoes, or gently-used ones that you'd like to go to a new home.

  • 🥗 Cocina 11am - 12:30pm **Please note new start time**

    • Learn a new recipe from our community chefs and help prepare our community lunch! The class will be in Spanish and translated back into English. Spots fill up fast, so arrive early!

  • Knife Sharpening

    • A generous volunteer will be sharpening knives for families in the Farmstand. The limit is 2 per family. Please bring them wrapped. We ask that you pay what you can (recommend $3+).
