How old do you have to be to participate in a farm workday?

  1. We welcome all volunteers to the farm.

  2. Middle and High School students MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian/chaperon in the field.

  3. Youth under the age of 13 and family groups are welcome to Volunteer at the Youth Garden or take a stroll through the farm.

Please mark the dates you plan to volunteer. We plan our workdays according to the number of participants, to keep COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Frequently Asked Questions

In case of rough weather...

  1. Workdays are canceled in the case of heavy, continuous rain. Cancellations will be posted on our website and Facebook page an hour before the workday.

What to bring and wear...

  1. Wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/about-face-coverings.html

  2. Proper farm clothes are those that you are comfortable in and don’t mind getting dirty.

  3. Closed toed shoes are mandatory.

  4. Long sleeves, pants, and hats for protection are encouraged, but not required. Sunscreen.

  5. Bring your own hat and gloves or borrow from us.

  6. PLEASE REMEMBER A WATER BOTTLE TO RE-FILL!
