Youth and Family Spanish Language Cooking Class
Veggielution Cocina will bring together a guest chef and 20 participants to cook healthy, seasonal, affordable, and culturally-relevant meals on the first Saturday of every month. Guest chefs will be local restaurateurs, talented home cooks, and Veggielution farm box members.
Participants will practice basic to intermediate food preparation and kitchen skills in an intimate and friendly setting. In addition to taking home a prepared meal, classmates will share dishes they made together with other Veggielutionaries at our Saturday community lunch.

Start your weekend off right in the midmorning sun either to work on improving your practice, or even if you're still in the exploration of finding your own personal practice, what better place than to do those things than on a wonderful farm that produces local and sustainable food.
Yoga + Veggies = Happy and Healthy! Join us in the fresh air for an energizing yoga class set in the landscape of the urban farm.
It's all about #community at Veggielution & BTC, find your feel good, commit to your health and the health of YOUR community!
So join us for some Gentle Vinyasa, and don't forget to bring your own mat.
All levels welcome. Class offered by donation.

Veggielution's Youth Garden hosts activities for youth and families to play, explore, and discover the natural world together! Learn more about the Youth Garden!
Saturday Youth Garden Guidelines:
- We ask that there be one adult for every two children, and that guardians accompany their child at all times.
- We want to ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone. Joining us for our Youth Garden Activities is free of cost, and donations are gladly accepted for supplies and resources.
- All parents or guardians must fill out a liability waiver for themselves and for each child accompanying them. Feel free to print and fill out the liability waiver ahead of time, or fill out the waiver on-site from our iPad.
Community Farmers join the Farm Crew to plant, maintain, and harvest our 6 acres in urban San Jose by signing up here.
12:30 - 1:30 pm
After work on the farm and in the Youth Garden is done, we grow our community by sharing a meal together. Bring a lunch for yourself and join our farm picnic! Veggielution Cocina class will share a taste test of what they prepared together! All are welcome to join - have your family or friends meet you at the farm.
