Join Veggielution for a farm fresh feast of local produce and wine, sourced and prepared by gifted chef Affie Mahini from Cafe Pomegranate. Celebrate the rich tastes of our bountiful harvest while soaking in the sights of the farm and sounds of live music. Polish off the evening with a decadent dessert, an exciting Barn dance and the warm feeling of supporting a healthy, homegrown, San Jose.

About the Chef
Cafe Pomegranate opened in 2003 as owner Affie Mahini’s vision to create a casual dinning experience in the heart of San Jose. The cafe blends her love of cooking with her passion to feed people. Drawing from her family’s Persian background Mahini has created an eclectic mix of foods that feature the best from Iranian, Mediterranian, Mexican and Californian cuisines. The cafe is located across the street from San Jose State University and just behind the new city hall.

Volunteer for the Bounty of Heart's Delight!
We need volunteers for Saturday Event Set-up and Execution (Saturday August 23rd from 10am to 10pm) and Sunday Clean-up (Sunday August 24th from 10am to 4pm). All volunteers who work the event will receive the same amazing food as our dinner guests will be eating and have an opportunity to participate in the barn dance that is taking place after the dinner. Those able to work the cleanup shift on Sunday will receive bagels, orange juice, coffee and a discount coupon to our farm stand. We will be assigning tasks to people based on what times they are available to work.

We will be hosting this year’s dinner at the farm. The Veggielution Farm is located at Emma Prusch Park in San Jose. Enter through the main park gate on King Rd. The gate is directly across from Lido Rd. Go down the long driveway to the main parking lot. The lot continues into a narrow parking lot, and there will be signs pointing you back to Veggielution. Enter through the large gate, you’ve made it!
